Iran is likely to receive a response to the new US proposal for a ceasefire today, which is likely to end the ongoing tension.
According to the World News Agency, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Iran’s response will be received at some point today. If there is a concrete plan of action, the process will begin in earnest.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi’s latest tweet indicates a further increase in the intensity of the tension in the Strait of Hormuz, rather than a decrease.
He said in the tweet that whenever matters move towards a diplomatic solution, the US starts a dangerous military adventure at the same time.
In his post on ‘X’, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi called this US action a dirty tactic and asked whether it was the work of a saboteur (Israel) who is once again pushing the US president into a new quagmire?
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi added that whatever the reason, the result will always be the same, and that is that Iranians never bow to pressure.
Abbas Araqchi also rejected the report on Iran’s missile stockpiles issued by the US intelligence agency CIA.
The Iranian Foreign Minister claimed that the capacity of our missile stockpiles and launchers is not 75% but 120% compared to March 31.
It should be remembered that last night, US forces bombed military bases in Iran and clashes between the forces of the two countries have continued in the Strait of Hormuz.
