ISLAMABAD: Editor in Chief Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Chairman Roze News SK Niazi, while talking in his renowned talk show Sachi Baat, said Jamaat-e-Islami is a very good party, Jamaat-e-Islami cannot get power, Jamaat-e-Islami will have to work hard for power, provinces should be formed, the formation of a province will solve people’s problems, Jamaat-e-Islami had been planning the protest for several months, Jamaat-e-Islami postponed its protest over a phone call, Jamaat-e-Islami should have protested, there is a need to focus on unemployment, inflation and other public issues in the country, political leadership should show seriousness in Pakistan’s current internal and external situations, along with Pakistan’s global prestige and foreign relations, internal issues are also important, the leadership of political parties should focus on issues like corruption and unemployment at the internal level, there is a discussion about the ease of administrative matters by dividing provinces, the creation of new provinces can help improve facilities and administrative matters for the people, other regional issues, including Afghanistan, are also important in the current situation, Trump’s statements may prolong matters further, Iran’s internal situation and US policy are also affecting the situation, the issue of the Strait of Hormuz has taken on a very serious nature, US policy on Iran is having an impact on the region, the situation between the people and the government within Iran is also important, talks of attempts to create chaos within Iran are also emerging, Iran’s internal conditions are also playing an important role in the current situation, the issue of the Strait of Hormuz is extremely important and sensitive, different statements are being made by Trump regarding both war and negotiations, Trump’s statements are likely to prolong matters further, it is not easy to assess the depth of the situation in the case of Iran, diplomatic efforts cannot be ignored in the current situation in the region, nothing will be achieved from protests, protests harm the country, there are many groups in Jamaat-e-Islami,  

Deputy Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Syed Farasat Shah said Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its sit-ins, old politics must be ended, the system is not working, when this budget is presented, Islamabad is shut down, something will have to be done for the provinces, joint steps will have to be taken regarding the formation of provinces, worked in a year but all the work is slow, when we ask questions, we are told to talk to the relevant authorized institutions and our hands are waved away, will initially go to private universities to work, cooperation will be sought from private universities managed by the Pakistani government, the Prime Minister called Hafiz Naeem amid preparations for protests, with workers travelling from Karachi to Multan and activity also reported in KP, the government should address political issues through dialogue and communication, PTI leaders should also engage with ministers, the Prime Minister has assured JI leadership of discussing the petroleum levy, while the protest strategy may continue if the issue remains unresolved, regarding regional tensions, Pakistan has clearly expressed support for Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed its commitment to the kingdom’s defence, while avoiding immediate military action that could further complicate the situation.

Former Ambassador Mian Sanaullah said Jamaat-e-Islami should have backed down long ago, their deal is done, they should have made their decision instead of backing down, until yesterday, it was being said that we will do this, they will do that, the situation seems to be easing somewhat after the statements coming from Karachi, given the current situation, there are talks of a decrease in protests, if they back out, its political impact will definitely be lost, use of force is not a permanent solution to any problem, political issues should be resolved through dialogue, it’s good if there is a good deed, but it shouldn’t take so long, protests should be such that matters are not affected and the issue is also brought to light, Protesters should present their demands and negotiate peacefully, while the government has made clear that peaceful protest is a right but violence will be dealt with under the law, the regional situation remains highly sensitive, with efforts continuing for a ceasefire and de-escalation in Gaza, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, Pakistan will continue diplomatic efforts for peace and restraint, while its position on Saudi Arabia’s defence remains clear, Pakistan also maintains contacts with Iran and will continue to support efforts to reduce regional tensions.
