US President Donald Trump has given Iran a clear deadline of 10 to 15 days to reach an agreement.

According to the World News Agency, Donald Trump has threatened that if Iran does not negotiate within the given time, a major military attack will be launched.

After President Trump’s deadline to Iran, the US Air Force in Europe began to assume its military positions towards Iran.

An increase in the activity of warplanes and support air assets has been seen at a US air base on an island in Portugal, where US planes have assumed positions for possible operations.

On the other hand, the famous American newspaper The New York Times has warned in its report that the consequences of any US attack on Iran could be unpredictable and this move could push the entire Middle East towards a new war.

A day earlier, the British news agency claimed that the US president was considering directly targeting Iran’s top leadership, while some reports also mentioned limited attacks on Iran.

The same reports also claimed that the US military’s goal may not be just military action, but also an attempt to change the regime by increasing pressure on the Iranian government.

There has been no official response from Iran to these reports, however, Iranian officials have made it clear in the past that any attack will be met with a strong response.
