KURRAM: In the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij opened fire without provocation, but fled after receiving a strong response from the Pakistan Army.

According to security sources, the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij opened fire without provocation in Kurram, but the Pakistan Army gave a strong and fierce response.

Security sources said that due to the firing by the Pakistan Army, Taliban posts were severely damaged and fire broke out at the posts of the Afghan Taliban.

Security sources further said that as a result of the retaliatory action of the Pakistan Army, a Taliban tank was also destroyed and they fled after abandoning their posts.
