Pakistan’s Muhammad Ahsan Ramzan defeated his Indian opponent to make it to the semi-finals of the IBSF World Under-21 Championship.
According to reports received from Manama, Bahrain, in the quarter-finals of the championship, Ahsan Ramzan defeated India’s Mayur Garg 0-4 after a one-sided match.
Earlier, in the pre-quarterfinals, Ahsan Ramzan defeated his compatriot Hasnain Akhtar 1-4.
On the other hand, all Pakistani players in the 6 red category were eliminated from the event. World champion Muhammad Asif, Shahid Aftab and Ahsan Ramzan, who won the World Masters Championship, faced defeats at different stages.
In the last 30 round, Muhammad Asif was defeated by Iraq’s Faraz Kamil 3-4. Shahid Aftab defeated Hong Kong’s Chow Hon Man 2-4. Ahsan Ramzan defeated Scotland’s Ayan Iqbal 3-4.
