Umar Gul breaks silence on reports of fight with Shaheen Afridi

Pakistan bowling coach Umar Gul has broken his silence on the reports of an alleged fight with Shaheen Shah Afridi.

In a press conference, Umar Gul said that when he woke up in the morning, he was tagged in a post on social media claiming that Shaheen Afridi was not listening to the coach.

He said that this incident was when Hassan Ali was injured and fell on the ground while Shaheen Afridi was sitting outside. According to him, Shaheen usually tapes his knee while bowling and the conversation was about that.

Umar Gul said that at that time he was having a normal conversation with Shaheen Afridi that he was being asked to go out, during which Sarfraz Ahmed came and told him that Hassan Ali had an injury on his head.

According to the bowling coach, the incident was wrongly portrayed as a fight, when in reality it was not. He said that the situation seen in the video was just a reaction and he had no idea that the camera was recording the moment.

It should be noted that after the viral video went viral on social media, users had given different reactions to it, speculating that there was a heated exchange between the coach and the player.
