Two brotherly countries stand side by side in the face of the enemy, Defense Minister reacts to Pakistan-Saudi defense agreement

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif termed the joint defence agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as a turning point in the history of brotherly relations between the two countries and said that the two brotherly countries stand united and shoulder to shoulder in the face of the enemy.

In his post on social media X regarding the historic joint defence agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, he said that under the shadow of the Almighty, the entire nation will unite against the common enemy, God willing. Long live Pakistan, long live the Muslim Ummah.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Riyadh from Islamabad on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia yesterday at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, where the Prime Minister was given a grand welcome by Saudi F-15 fighter jets.

The two leaders signed a defense agreement aimed at supporting each other in the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Under the agreement, Pakistan has now become a strategic partner in the protection of the Two Holy Mosques and the security of Saudi Arabia.

Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir played a key role in the preparation and completion of this agreement.

This agreement transforms the decades-long military cooperation, joint exercises and defense relations of the two countries into a formal strategic partnership.

This agreement will not only promote peace and global security in the region but will also create vast opportunities in the economic, diplomatic and military fields.
