Spanish Deputy Prime Minister Yolanza Diaz has strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza and the deprivation of food aid to starving Palestinian children.

According to the international news agency, the Spanish Deputy Prime Minister further said that Israel has committed serious violations of international law.

Comparing Russia’s attack on Ukraine and Israel’s attack on Gaza, the Spanish Deputy Prime Minister said that when severe sanctions can be imposed on Russia, why can’t the same be done against Israel?

He raised the question of whether these two issues are not the same? The situation in Gaza should also be considered a similar issue to Ukraine and European countries should adopt the same principles.

He complained that Israel not only violated international law, but the European leadership also ignored this serious situation.

Yolanza Diaz further said that the European Union should immediately end all relations with it over these Israeli violations.

The Spanish Deputy Prime Minister said that she wants to send a message to the international community, especially Europe, that all kinds of agreements and relations with Israel should be terminated.

The Spanish Deputy Prime Minister said that people around the world are raising their voices for Gaza and in Europe too, a large number of people are taking to the streets to protest, but there is a clear difference between the policies of the European people and the European Commission.

It should be noted that Spain had recently summoned an Israeli diplomat and registered a formal protest over the blocking of the Samood flotilla.
