Islamabad: PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan stated that one cannot be expected to refrain from protesting when justice is denied, grievances go unheard, and demands are ignored. He affirmed that the long march will certainly take place and they will come to Islamabad, but the protest will be peaceful.

Speaking to the media outside Parliament, he noted that the PTI leadership and parliamentary party held meetings and subsequent press conferences; they have consistently strived to improve the situation and never closed the door to reconciliation.

Barrister Gohar asked how it is possible to demand that there be no protest when justice is withheld, concerns are disregarded, and demands remain unaddressed. He questioned how the situation could improve if court orders are not implemented and issues regarding meetings and medical treatment remain unresolved.
