Karachi: The price of gold and silver has increased further in the global and local markets.

The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market recorded an increase of $35 on Wednesday, as a result of which the new global price reached $4,811 per ounce.

On the other hand, under the influence of the global market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola in local bullion markets also increased by Rs 3,500 on the third day of the business week, bringing the new price to Rs 503,462 per tola.

Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams at the local level also increased by Rs. 3,001 and the new price came to Rs. 431,637.

With the increase in gold prices, silver has also become expensive in the country. With an increase of Rs 144 in the price per tola, the new price of silver has reached Rs 8404 and with an increase of Rs 124, the price of 10 grams of silver has reached Rs 7205.

It should be noted that after the decline in gold prices at the global and local levels on Saturday and Monday, the rates had recorded an increase yesterday.
