Apple is a fruit that is widely eaten around the world and there are many varieties of it available.

It is also made into a part of various dishes and drinks, but to what extent is it beneficial for health?

In fact, the habit of eating fresh fruits and vegetables helps in improving the health of type 2 diabetic patients and also prevents blood sugar from increasing.

A study published in the Journal of Nutrition found that if patients with type 2 diabetes and high blood sugar ate just one apple a day or consumed an additional amount of another fruit or vegetable, their body weight decreased while harmful cholesterol also decreased.

Researchers involved in the study at the George Institute in Australia said that we know that a balanced diet is the key to good health, but very few people eat the right amount of fruit and vegetables.

For this study, 50 patients with type 2 diabetes were recruited and provided with a healthy diet for 12 weeks.

The researchers said the results show that eating a healthy diet improves the health of diabetics.

They said the study will now be carried out on a larger scale to confirm the health benefits.
