The federal government has decided to reduce the prices of petroleum products.

The government has reduced the price of diesel by Rs 6.80 per liter and the price of petrol by Rs 6 per liter.

After the government’s decision, the new price of petrol will be Rs 403.78 and the price of diesel will be Rs 402.78.

It may be recalled that the government had reduced the prices of petroleum products by Rs 5 per liter last week, after which the price of petrol and diesel per liter was fixed at Rs 409.78 and Rs 409.58 respectively.

Earlier, the prices of petroleum products had been increased significantly, as a result of which the price of petrol per liter had increased to Rs 414.78 and the price of high-speed diesel to Rs 414.58.
