Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif says that the enemy’s attack in the dark was given a historic response, the summary of the battle of truth is that our falcons were dominant everywhere and the enemy’s planes were wreckage.
A special ceremony was held at the Pakistan Monument in Islamabad on the completion of one year of Operation Banyan Marsus Battle of Truth.
The ceremony was attended by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, along with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the chiefs of the armed forces, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Chairman of the Senate and federal ministers. Ambassadors of various countries, civil and military officials, and the families of the martyrs were also present at the ceremony.
The national anthem was played at the beginning of the ceremony. The well-dressed contingents of the three armed forces marched past and saluted.
At the Prime Minister’s appeal, a minute’s silence was also observed in the ceremony for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the motherland.
Addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that we prostrate in gratitude to Allah Almighty for the great success of the battle of truth, and we pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives to protect the motherland.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that India based the Pahalgam incident on baseless allegations, we had informed the enemy about the outcome of every kind of adventure, we had also offered every kind of investigation into the incident, the cowardly enemy imposed war on us, to which the brave forces gave a historic response, when our falcons pounced on the enemy, the enemy was in a state of panic, the summary of the battle of truth is that our falcons were dominant everywhere and there were wreckage of enemy aircraft, the enemy was forced to request a ceasefire, despite the passage of a year, India has not been able to present any evidence to this day.
Prime Minister announces to celebrate May 10th as Battle of Truth Day with full enthusiasm
The Prime Minister said that I announce to name May 10th as Battle of Truth Day, and Battle of Truth Day will be celebrated every year with full enthusiasm.
He said that I salute the martyrs of the country, their families and the people, I pay tribute to the brave armed forces chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, I and the entire nation salute Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, if I do not mention Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar, history will remain incomplete, our Air Force has opened the floodgates of the enemy’s claims, I pay tribute to Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf and the soldiers of the Navy, 240 million people stood as a lead-lined wall with their forces in the Battle of Truth.
Regarding the mediation in the Iran-Iraq war, the Prime Minister said that he would like to thank the brotherly and friendly countries for their support, and he would also like to thank President Donald Trump for his efforts to end the war, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan, and Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Chinese leadership for their political, diplomatic and moral support in the fight for justice.
The Prime Minister confirmed that Iran’s response to the US proposal had been received.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan is using its capabilities to establish peace in the brotherly neighboring country of Iran. We played an important role in bringing them to negotiations after 1979. The Field Marshal has just informed that Iran’s response has been received.
He said that Pakistan has always stood as a strong voice for the rights and justice of oppressed nations. Pakistan has raised its voice for Palestine and occupied Kashmir at every level. Pakistan has made unparalleled sacrifices in the war against terrorism. Our youth are making unparalleled sacrifices against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan. Youth are our greatest valuable asset.
