Hossein Mohebbi, a spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that the claim of Iran seeking to acquire nuclear weapons is the biggest lie of the century.

Speaking at a press conference in Tehran, Mohebbi remarked that American leaders tell many lies to their own people. He explained that the slogan “Death to America” ​​is a criticism of US policies rather than a call for the death of the American people; consequently, they have decided to address the American public in a realistic manner.

He further noted that the Iranian delegation lacked adequate media resources during the United Nations General Assembly session, which prevented them from clearly conveying their message to the American public.
