The Taliban government in Afghanistan has banned women from visiting male dentists for dental treatment.

According to Al-Arabiya News, Taliban officials in Kandahar province of Afghanistan kicked out female patients from dental clinics.

Taliban officials also issued an order to dental clinics, stating that women coming for treatment should not be seen by male dentists.

This latest Taliban order comes at a time when a few weeks ago, “romantic poetry” and unauthorized poetry readings were banned across the country.

It should be remembered that since the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan in August 2021 and the Taliban taking power, women have been banned from jobs and girls’ secondary education.

Similarly, women were not allowed to work with the United Nations and other foreign aid organizations.

In addition, women’s parks, gyms and sports facilities have also been closed, while female athletes have been prevented from participating in international competitions
