ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Field Marshal has achieved success on two fronts in a year. We will also win the economic and anti-terrorism wars.

In his statement on the social networking platform X, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that Field Marshal Asim Munir has won two wars in a year by the grace and mercy of Allah.

He said that Field Marshal Asim Munir has emerged as a victorious general against India and a successful diplomat with patience and forbearance on the peace front and is excelling on both fronts.

Khawaja Asif said that may Allah Almighty continue these victories. He praised the leadership and character of Field Marshal Asim Munir and said that he achieved success while facing various challenges.

The Defense Minister also praised the role of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, saying that he played a role with sincerity, wisdom and understanding in both the war against India and the Iran-US reconciliation, which is history-making.

Khawaja Asif said that it is the result of balance and alignment in the interests of the country that the grace of God continues. He also expressed the hope that the current leadership will also be successful and victorious in the economic front and the ongoing war against terrorism.
