Abdul Ahad, who arranged his mother’s marriage, said in an interview, “In the past 18 years, my mother had many affairs and we insisted on marriage but she refused. One day, when I came home from the office, my mother came into the room and started telling me that her daughter had told me about an affair.
Ahmed said that I did not listen carefully, because after my mother’s continuous refusal to remarry, we never talked about it.
Ahmed further said, “A day or two later, my mother came into my room again and said that I had spoken to her. At that time, I felt that my mother was serious. She said, ‘You should talk to me once.’ It was a little difficult, but that’s how it should be. At the time of the marriage, Maulvi Sahib was also happy and was saying that it is rare to see a son become a witness in a mother’s marriage.”
