Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said that the establishment wants to divide the party by not allowing Imran Khan to meet and some of our people are also becoming fools on this agenda.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along with the provincial cabinet reached Rawalpindi to meet Imran Khan, where the police stopped him at Gorakhpur junction.
Ali Amin Gandapur talked to the police but he was not allowed to go further and then while talking to the media there, the Chief Minister said that the cabinet meeting will not be held here, such meetings do not happen, the Punjab government has nothing to do, they can only block the way.
He said that they do not allow the meeting, they make him sit for four to five hours, instead of sitting here, he was working in flood-hit areas, let alone social media, not every person can be satisfied.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that the reason for not holding the meeting is the division in the party and the establishment wants the party to be divided. We were not given a meeting even when the mining bill and the budget bill were passed. If we had met with Imran Khan, there would have been transparency and people’s confusion would have ended.
The Chief Minister said that meetings were also stopped on the Senate election, now the Bajaur people are obstructing the meetings on the Bajaur issue. They want meetings not to happen and confusion to continue to increase. Some of our people also become fools on the establishment’s agenda.
He said that if the meeting is not held, should I break the jail? I can do it, but what will happen? They make people stand here at every meeting.
The Chief Minister said that the PML-N should be ashamed of talking like this on the funerals of martyrs. The PML-N does politics in everything. There is no democracy in the country, the assemblies are fake. There is no point in going to funerals. A person should realize this. Policies should be fixed instead of the martyrdoms of their people.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that we tried to find a solution to this issue by holding a jirga of all the tribes. We asked them to find a way for negotiations. First, they said, “Who are you?” Then, when we talked again, TROs were asked for. We sent them too. The issues are not on the track that will solve the problems. We have no agenda to solve the problems.
He said that the nature of the flood in our areas was different. Entire hills were landslides, settlements and trees were washed away. The flood was a big challenge. We have managed it to some extent and even today, relief work is still going on in the affected areas, while 400 deaths have occurred in our province due to the flood.
The Chief Minister said that the federal government has not fulfilled any promise with us, Form 47 MNAs are roaming around the province but no adequate assistance has been provided, the federal government has not fulfilled the responsibility it should have, but I do not play politics on it, we do not need their assistance, we have left a political funeral for everything, if I did not go to the funerals I attended before, will I play politics on it?
He said that the issue of terrorism should be solved seriously by taking practical steps, no one’s child, father or husband should be harmed and a policy should be made on this, as soon as I became the Chief Minister to end terrorism, I called jirgas of entire tribes, I had said that we should talk to Afghanistan, to which the federation started saying that I could not do anything.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that Afghanistan and we have a border, a language, a culture, traditions are also similar, we have sent TORs to the federal government, it has been seven or eight months since they received any response, it is not possible for me to give my airports in a private war, this does not come on the agenda of negotiations and discussions.
He said that who is responsible for what is causing these funerals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa? There is a need to pay attention to the problem that these martyrdoms are causing, I ask what was the result of the operations that have been carried out till date? Unless there is public trust, no war can be won.
The Chief Minister said that no one wants anyone’s children to be martyred, we have to re-examine our policies, that is why they are not allowing me to meet my leader, their aim is to divide the party and keep the differences growing.
