Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, in his message on World Earth Day, said that protecting the earth is a shared responsibility of all.
He stated that climate change, pollution, and human activities are severely damaging the planet. He added that extreme heat, floods, and environmental risks have already affected millions of people, while deforestation and the destruction of ecosystems represent a dangerous trend.
The Chief Minister said that healthy ecosystems are essential for prosperous societies and a strong future. He emphasized that sustainable development and harmony between humans and nature are a vital need of the time.
Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government is taking practical steps for environmental protection, with focus on tree plantation, coastal protection, and forest restoration across the province.
He expressed the resolve that making the land green and sustainable remains a top priority, and efforts will continue to ensure a clean and safe environment for future generations.
He also urged citizens to adopt eco-friendly lifestyles and use energy and natural resources responsibly so that a secure future for the planet can be ensured collectively.
