Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has responded to the allegations of fraud of $ 72 million.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and Indian businessman Raj Kundra has denied the allegations of fraud of 6.04 billion rupees (about $ 72 million) filed against him.

Talking to the media during the promotion of his Punjabi film ‘Mehr’ in New Delhi, Raj Kundra said that he has done nothing wrong and the truth will come out soon. Kundra said, ‘We have not said anything so far because we know that we are innocent, the truth will come out soon.’

It should be remembered that these allegations against Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have been made by 60-year-old businessman Deepak Kothari, Deepak has claimed that he was cheated by Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty in an investment deal that was done between 2015 and 2023.

According to Deepak, he was persuaded to lend Rs 7.5 billion to Best Deal TV Private Limited, co-owned by Kundra and Shetty, at an annual interest rate of 12 percent in 2015.

During this time, he transferred a total of Rs 6.04 billion to Raj Kundra, but the deal was later converted into an investment.

Deepak says that Shilpa Shetty had given a personal guarantee for the deal in April 2016, but in September 2016, the actress resigned as a company director. Deepak also claims that the company was facing insolvency proceedings at the time, which were allegedly hidden from him.
