KOT ADDU: A poor shepherd was shot at by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MNA Noor Rabbani’s guard for grazing his goats near the fields owned by the Pakistan People’s Party leader.
The poor shepherd was grazing his goats near Noor Rabbani’s field. The ‘crime’ was so big that he was shot and injured by the guard of the MNA. However, the police action didn’t move ahead of the action traditionally taken by them in cases involving powerful landowners.
Although the police at Sunanwan Police Station registered the case against three people including the guard, named Riaz, who had fired at the shepherd but they haven’t been able to catch the accused as yet and raids are still being carried out to arrest them.
