Lahore: The acquittal of former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the May 9 case has been challenged in the Lahore High Court.

According to the prosecution has filed an appeal against the acquittal of PTI leader and former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, in which it has been taken the position that Shah Mahmood Qureshi was acquitted by the trial court contrary to the facts.

The petition has taken the position that the trial court did not properly assess the facts against Shah Mahmood Qureshi. The court is requested to declare Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s acquittal null and void.
