
In a shooting between migrant groups on Saturday in Serbia close to the Hungarian border, one migrant was killed and at least six others, including a teenage girl, were hurt, according to state-run RTS television.
According to RTS, the event took place in a forest on the borders of Subotica, around 160 kilometres (100 miles) north of Belgrade, and left the 16-year-old girl with life-threatening injuries. Only about a kilometre from the Hungarian border, police closed entry to the area where the incident occurred but did not immediately comment.
Aleksandar Vulin, the interior minister, hurried to the site. The injured, who are in their 20s to 30s, are without identification, Subotica Mayor Stevan Bakic informed regional media.
