Islamabad: 21 Khawarij members belonging to the Indian-sponsored Fitna-ul-Khawarij were killed in various operations by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between September 3 and 5.
According to the ISPR, 10 more Khawarij members hiding in the area were killed after a successful operation by security forces near the Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan on the intervening night of August 31 and September 1.
