Pakistan Street Child Team Begins Its World Cup 2026 Mission!

Pakistan’s Street Child Football Team has officially kicked off its preparations for the 2026 World Cup.

The global event is set to take place in May 2026 in Mexico City, where Pakistan’s team will compete against 30 teams from around the world on an international stage.

The renowned Pakistan Street Child Football Team, supported by Muslim Hands, is now in its final phase of preparations for the Street Child Football World Cup 2026.

This tournament goes beyond football—it represents a global movement advocating for the rights, protection, and identity of street-connected children.

After winning a silver medal at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and delivering impressive performances in other international competitions, Pakistan enters the 2026 edition as a strong contender.

Through the platform of Muslim Hands, the team will not only showcase its talent on the field but also raise its voice globally. Team members will participate in the United Nations General Assembly, advocating for fundamental rights such as legal identity (birth certificates), protection from violence, and access to education.

The 2026 event in Mexico City is expected to be the most inclusive tournament yet, featuring both boys’ and girls’ competitions. The “Green Shirts” have become a symbol of hope in Pakistan, proving that talent knows no social boundaries.

Currently, the team is undergoing intensive training camps to adapt to Mexico City’s high-altitude conditions.

Spokesperson and Maidaan Group Leader Rehan Tahir, while speaking to the media, stated that the team is fully prepared and determined to participate in the global event and will proudly represent a positive image of Pakistan on the world stage
