SAHIWAL: Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rashid warned that he would set the whole country on fire if PTI Chairman Imran Khan was arrested. Addressing tens of thousands of people at Sahiwal on Saturday, Rashid said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was looting 180 million Pakistanis.
The first resignation of Maryam Nawaz has already come, he said, adding that four more resignations of Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz are yet to be received.
“Those who are giving us lecture of peace shed blood of innocent people in Islamabad and Lahore,” he said. The AML leader said that he would stand by Imran Khan in war and peace. “If Imran Khan declares a war, I will follow suit and if Imran Khan declares peace, I will follow him,” he said.
Rashid vowed to unseat Prime Minister Sharif through people’s power. “How many days Nawaz Sharif lived in Pakistan after coming into power,” he questioned. The AML leader lashed out opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah, saying that he was more loyal than the king.
Pakistan, he said, was on the verge of destruction due to the nexus of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari. He called upon Pakistanis to attend Nov 30 rally in Islamabad.
