Rajkummar Rao gained about 13 kg to play the role of Subhash Chandra Bose, the mysterious leader who fought for freedom in the web series ‘Bose: Dead/Alive’.

Skipped breakfast and lunch too
Rajkummar Rao had said that as soon as I heard the script of the film Bose, I knew that the extra weight I gained would have to be reduced immediately later.
The actor informed his fans about his method of losing weight and said that he had skipped breakfast and lunch to lose weight. He only ate dinner.
Rajkummar Rao had said that his night diet also mainly contained more protein. Due to being constantly busy with work, he did not feel hungry that much.
However, Rajkummar Rao’s weight loss routine was not limited to diet alone.
3 hours of exercise daily too
Rajkummar Rao said that he used to do cardio and strength training while losing weight and his exercise duration was at least 3 hours daily.
The actor also said that staying fit has always been his rule, which is why he had to strictly control his diet even during festivals and feasts.
He described the days of Diwali as especially difficult, saying that he had to restrain himself from his favorite foods because he had a goal of losing weight.

Rajkummar Rao will now play the lead role in the biopic ‘Dada’, which is based on the life of former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly.
