Rain with strong winds, Meteorological Department predicts

  • ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has announced the good news of rain and hail with strong winds in different areas of the country.
  • According to reports issued by the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. The heat will continue to be intense in most areas, however, there is a possibility of wind, thunderstorm and rain in many cities.
  • The Meteorological Department says that there is a possibility of rain in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Murree. In addition, rain with thunderstorm is also expected in Dir, Swat, Malam Jabba, Kohistan and Bajaur.
  • The Meteorological Department has forecast the possibility of wind and rain in Kalam, Chitral, Buner, Kohat, Abbottabad and Peshawar. In addition, rain with thunderstorm has been predicted in Swabi, Mardan, Malakand, Parachinar, Kurram and Bannu.
  • According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of wind and rain in DI Khan, Lakki Marwat, Karak and Waziristan. Peshawar will remain partly cloudy today, while the weather is expected to remain hot. The temperature in the city may rise to 40 degrees Celsius, while the humidity in the air has been recorded at 29 percent.
  • According to the Meteorological Department, rain was recorded in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa last night, the highest rainfall of 20 mm was recorded in Upper Dir, while 17 mm was recorded in Mirkhani, 16 mm in Kalam, 13 mm in Drosh, 12 mm in and 8 mm in Pattan.
  • In some areas of Lahore, the weather has become pleasant due to rain and a decrease in the intensity of the heat has also been recorded. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of rain in the city today and the weather has been predicted to remain dry throughout the day.
  • According to the data of the Meteorological Department, the current temperature of the city has been recorded at 34 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is likely to go up to 41 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to be 28 degrees Celsius.
  • According to the report, winds are likely to blow at a speed of 5 to 26 kilometers per hour throughout the day, while the current wind speed was recorded at 10 kilometers per hour. The humidity ratio in the air has been noted at 35 percent, due to which the weather is being felt relatively pleasant.
