Rawalpindi Arts Council arranged a ‘mehfil-e-naat’for the ladies. Famous khawateen naat khawan presented naat in the event. Senator Najma Hameed, Member National Assembly Tahira Aurangzeb, Member Punjab Assembly Tehseen Fawad, and Member Punjab Assembly Lubna Pirzada participated as guests of honor accompanied by Naheed Manzoor. khawateen naat khawans Dr Ayesha Umer, Dr Afshan, mishal, Aleena Tariq, Zuhra Hyderi, Mahnoor, Nusrat Bibi, Aqsa Sultan Ambreen, Laraib and Sonia presented naats.
Addressing at the occasion, Senator Najma Hameed said that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stressed on tolerance, understanding and respect for humanity and such occasions give an opportunity to the Muslims for recalling the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH)
Member National Assembly Tahira Aurangzeb love for Holy Prophet lies in the heart of every Muslim and urged the Muslim countries to be united on the issue to raise their voice collectively.
Member Punjab Assembly Tehseen Fawad said the entire life of Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a beacon and worthy of emulation as His personality is characterized by attributes of sympathy, generosity, bravery, mercifulness.
Member Punjab Assembly Lubna Pirzada said that the entire life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a source of great inspiration and guidance for the Muslims, to follow and to succeed in their lives.
The participants also recited darood-o-Salam on the occasion and showed love to Holy Prophet (PBUH)”. The mehfil-e-naat was ended with the heart touching prayer of Naheed Manzoor for the prosperity of the country and unity of Muslim Ummah.
