Peshawar: The PTI has made the cancellation of the long march conditional on a meeting with the founding chairman.
According to sources, a meeting of the PTI’s political and core committee was held late at night in which Barrister Gohar and Salman Akram Raja briefed the government on the talks.

The meeting was informed in the briefing that the federal government could potentially take action against the provincial government and PTI due to the long march. A proposal to postpone the long march to avoid possible government action was also made in the meeting.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said that only the founding chairman can postpone the long march, and a meeting with the founding chairman should be made a condition in the talks with the government today.
