Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, to attend the Arab-Islamic Summit.
Qatari Minister of Culture Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani received the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation at Doha Airport.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Doha to attend the emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, which has been called to discuss the Israeli airstrikes on Doha and the worsening human rights situation in Palestine.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi are part of the high-level delegation accompanying the Prime Minister.
It should be noted that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Qatar and strongly condemns Israeli aggression against Qatar and other regional states.
To express solidarity with Qatar and regional unity, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited Doha on September 11 and met with the Qatari leadership to express Pakistan’s unwavering support for Qatar’s security and sovereignty and its commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East.
The participation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and heads of other Muslim countries in the emergency meeting to be held in Doha today is a manifestation of the unwavering commitment to establishing strong unity in the Muslim Ummah and regional peace.
