ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has reached the Presidential Palace for an important meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari.

According to information received by Express News from sources, the overall economic and political situation of the country was discussed in the meeting between the Prime Minister and the President.

The Prime Minister informed the President about the ongoing tension on the western border and Pakistan’s effective response, while the political situation in Azad Jammu and Kashmir was discussed in the meeting.

According to sources, the concerns and demands of the Pakistan People’s Party were also reviewed in the meeting, while the parliamentary role of the Pakistan People’s Party Azad Jammu and Kashmir was also discussed.
