LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Sunday said that the government has not considered even a single demand of the party up till now.
The PPP chairman was talking to media after visiting Data Darbar. He expressed hope that the government will accept points put forth by PPP till Dec 27.
Bilawal Bhutto said that in the Panama case the PPP wants ‘democratic accountability’.
Bilawal Bhutto also announced start of political activities in Punjab. While responding to a question, Bilawal Bhutto said a prayer for his ‘uncle’, Imran Khan.
Bilawal Bhutto has given the federal government a deadline to meet his four demands till December 27. The PPP chairman said that in case his demands weren’t met, he would launch an anti-government, ‘Go Nawaz Go’ campaign, during which he would not take any U-turn.
The PPP chairman during his address at Karsaz on Oct 17, made four demands from the government. The demands included forming a parliamentary committee on national security, passage of PPP’s Panama bill, implementation of Asif Zardari’s resolution on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and appointment of a foreign minister.
