Karachi: Senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Member of National Assembly Khursheed Ahmed Shah has been shifted from Sukkur to Karachi after his health deteriorated.

According to Express News, party sources said that Khursheed Shah was shifted to Karachi for further treatment after being provided with initial medical aid at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) Sukkur.

Sources said that Khursheed Shah was sent to Karachi by a special plane of the Sindh government on the special instructions of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

According to sources, Khursheed Shah’s health suddenly deteriorated yesterday, after which he was immediately shifted to NICVD Sukkur where the doctors, after a detailed examination, said that Khursheed Shah had suffered a stroke and suggested shifting him to Karachi.

Pakistan Peoples Party leaders and workers have prayed for Khursheed Shah’s speedy recovery and the party leadership has issued special instructions to the hospital administration to continuously obtain information about his health.
