Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has said that the PPP in Sindh has created such a situation that people there also wish they had a Chief Minister like Maryam Nawaz.

Reacting to the press conference of PPP leaders, Uzma Bukhari has said that when will you stay in Punjab and fight the case of Punjab? Do you want people in Punjab not to get wheat, flour and bread? On the one hand, you are saying that there is a loss of wheat, on the other hand, you are saying that the wheat that is there should be sent out, whether it has been submerged or not, this is called flood politics.

Uzma Bukhari said that when floods occur in Sindh again and again, you keep submerging Sindh? You do not want to do politics, but the entire press conference was only politics and nothing else. The question is, what have you done for the flood victims till date? Except sitting and doing flood politics? Are you using the IMF as an excuse against Punjab, did you buy wheat in Sindh?

Uzma Bukhari said that what rules will be applied for not buying wheat in Sindh? Bilawal Bhutto has also praised Maryam Nawaz’s performance, that is why the people of Sindh also wish they had a Chief Minister like Maryam Nawaz.

She said that no one wants to abolish BISP, the question is why do they want to use it in floods? BISP has its own law and procedure, why are they bringing it into floods again and again? This is called politics.

Uzma Bukhari said that if you were so wise, you would not be in this situation in Punjab today, if you were capable of doing something, you would not be sitting in your homes and telling us where the flood was going to come and where the dam was going to break, governments make such decisions according to the circumstances and events.
