Washington: A powerful Nor'easter storm has struck the East Coast of the United States. According to US media reports, the storm brought gale-force winds and heavy rains, resulting in flooding across the East Coast states.

Media reports indicate that winds reaching speeds of 100 kilometers per hour are sweeping through coastal areas, while heavy rainfall has inundated residential neighborhoods and caused numerous trees to fall.

Additionally, vehicles were seen submerged in several feet of water; over 100,000 customers in the affected states lost power, and adverse weather conditions led to the cancellation of 445 flights and delays for more than 3,000 others.
