Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar has said that confirmation of Iran’s participation in the Islamabad talks has not been received yet.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar said in his statement on social media site X that Pakistan is in constant contact with Iran as a mediator and is following the path of diplomacy and negotiations.

He said that the ceasefire will end at 4:50 am on April 22, and Iran’s decision to participate in the talks is being described as very important.

The Information Minister said that Pakistan is trying to persuade Iran to join the talks, efforts are underway for the second phase of talks, and Pakistan has taken serious diplomatic steps for peace.
