The Chicago-born pope (the first American-born pope) has urged priests to avoid AI and use their own brains.

The pope made the remarks during a closed-door meeting of the Clergy of the Diocese of Rome on February 19.

Details of the meeting were released the next day and reported in Vatican News.

During the meeting, the pope told the audience that preaching is essentially sharing the faith. He then took the position that artificial intelligence will never be able to share the faith.
