ISLAMABAD: The talks between the PML-N and PPP delegations over political rhetoric ended inconclusively, Rana Sanaullah has said that the PPP did not demand an apology from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
According to Express News, the PML-N contacted the PPP to convince it, which led to a meeting between the PML-N and PPP delegations in the Speaker’s chamber of the National Assembly.
The PPP delegation was led by former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Ijaz Jakhrani, while Deputy Speaker Ghulam Mustafa Shah was present. Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah, Dr. Tariq and Fazal Chaudhry were present from the PML-N.
Later, these talks held in the Speaker’s chamber ended inconclusively.
Rana Sanaullah said that the PPP will continue the protest and walkout, the Prime Minister was supposed to meet President Asif Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto, the meeting is not taking place today due to the Prime Minister’s visit to Malaysia, the Prime Minister will return home tomorrow and discuss the concerns of the PPP.
He further said that the PPP did not demand an apology from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
