Before the election of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there was a risk of switching allegiance by the PTI MLAs, while the provincial president Junaid Akbar directed all the MLAs to ensure their presence in the country.

Junaid Akbar said that all the MPAs should ensure their presence in the country, if any institution or political party contacts anyone, they should inform the leadership in time.

He said that otherwise the party will take strict action.

Five MLAs of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly are on a trip abroad, including two opposition and three government members.
