Paving the way for direct air operations from Pakistan to the UK

Islamabad: The national airline (PIA) has received formal approval from the Third Country Operator (TCO) for the United Kingdom.

PIA will start direct air operations to the United Kingdom from next month.

In the first phase, Manchester flights will be operated, after which Birmingham and London will also be included in the network.

Yesterday, the British Department of Transport formally informed PIA.

PIA has been given comprehensive and comprehensive approval, which will allow PIA to operate direct flights and carry not only passengers but also cargo.

Yesterday, the British Department of Transport also issued PIA Security and Cargo ACC3 certificates for five years.

These certificates issued by international aviation organizations are a manifestation of complete confidence in PIA’s air operations and safety.

The CEO PIA expressed special gratitude to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, Ministry of Defense and Civil Aviation for their patronage and cooperation with other affiliated institutions.

The CEO PIA also thanked the PIA team for facing numerous audits with steadfastness for 5 years and achieving success in it.
