ISLAMABAD: The five-member bench of Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday adjourned the Panama Leaks case hearing till Monday due to heart ailment of Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed.

Head of the bench Justice Asif Saeed Khosa said that doctors have removed blockage in Justice Azmat’s vessels while he has also underwent successful angiography without any stenting.

He appreciated the doctors of Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, particularly its head Major General Azhar Mahmood Kayani for prompt and efficient services extended for the treatment of the honourable Judge. He said that Justice Azmat is recovering but he will remain under observation of doctors for three or four days.

Earlier, Justice Azmat Saeed was admitted to Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology following complaints of chest pain. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar and other senior judges came to hospital to ask about Justice Azmat’s health.
