India is vigorously pushing forward with a scheme targeting Pakistan, allegedly using the Pahalgam incident as a false flag operation to execute its plans. In line with this strategy, India has unilaterally paused the Indus Water Treaty and taken steps to obstruct the water flow of rivers that rightfully belong to Pakistan.

In these tense times—when the possibility of a nuclear conflict between Pakistan and India looms—it is a matter of great fortune for Pakistan to have a resolute, fearless, and principled leader like General Syed Asim Munir at the helm. By proactively managing the Pakistan-India situation, the Army Chief has shown that both the country’s borders and its people are under firm protection. His swift and strategic responses have not only shaken India but have also raised the spirits of the entire Pakistani nation.

General Asim Munir’s sharp vision has proven vital; he has fortified the country’s position both militarily and ideologically. His message to the public has been clear—Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and ideological foundations are non-negotiable. He also delivered a stern warning to India Pakistan’s desire for peace should never be misinterpreted as weakness. This clarity of stance is the reason India is being embarrassed on various fronts.

The international press has also taken note of General Asim Munir’s decisive leadership. The New York Times, one of the most influential newspapers in the United States, lauded him for his firm stance, strategic foresight, and bold leadership. The newspaper highlighted how, during rising tensions with India, General Asim exhibited rare political wisdom and military acumen—projecting a powerful message to the world. For a long time, Pakistan’s military leadership preferred to remain behind the scenes, but after the Pahalgam incident, General Munir personally stepped forward, energizing the national sentiment.

In a powerful moment, during a military exercise, General Asim Munir delivered a speech while standing atop a tank. The New York Times called this a definitive and bold declaration that any Indian military misadventure would be met with a swift and fierce response. The newspaper described his speech as a reflection of the genuine and determined spirit of Pakistan’s military leadership. His emergence as a unifying force came at a time when Pakistan was grappling with political unrest and economic challenges. Nevertheless, he succeeded in providing a cohesive narrative for the nation. General Asim is recognized for maintaining a tough and unyielding policy toward India.

Known for his courage, deep faith, and unwavering resolve, General Asim Munir is a Hafiz of the Quran who has handled the escalating tensions with India with exceptional wisdom and bravery. Under his command, the outlook for Pakistan’s security and future has grown stronger.

I had the opportunity to interview the late Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan on multiple occasions. The renowned architect of Pakistan’s nuclear program consistently praised the professionalism, discipline, and dedication of the Pakistani military. He often acknowledged the army’s full support throughout the development of Pakistan’s nuclear capability.

It is clear and evident that Pakistan’s defense rests in strong, capable hands. That’s why India continues to refrain from launching any direct action against Pakistan. The nation’s 240 million citizens stand solidly behind their armed forces, national sovereignty, and defense against any Indian aggression.

Whether it’s the successful Abdali and Fateh missile trials, rapid-response war exercises, the disruption of communications of four Indian Rafale jets attempting an operation from Ambala airbase, or the Navy’s active tracking of an Indian surveillance aircraft, Pakistan’s military remains vigilant. Additionally, the recent exposure of Indian intelligence agency RAW’s attempt to ignite violence in Balochistan confirms that the armed forces are alert and fully prepared for all threats.
