Lahore: Pakistan is also ready to host the matches of the Bangladesh team in the ICC T20 World Cup.

According to sources, due to the shortage of grounds in Sri Lanka, all the grounds of Pakistan are available to host these matches. The Bangladesh Cricket Board has refused to go to India for security reasons. The ICC will now decide where Bangladesh’s matches will be held.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has made it clear to the International Cricket Council through two letters that if its matches are shifted to Sri Lanka, they will never send their team to India.

The hosts of the ICC T20 World Cup are India and Sri Lanka. After the Pakistani team refused, the ICC has already scheduled all Pakistan’s matches in Sri Lanka. Three of Bangladesh’s matches have been held in Kolkata and one in Mumbai.

After extremist Indians threatened to kill Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman and demanded his expulsion from the IPL, the Indian Cricket Board instructed Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan to expel the Bengali cricketer from his team, after which the Bangladesh Cricket Board has taken a stand that if India cannot provide security to one player, then how will it ensure the safety of the entire Bangladesh team there.

According to Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam Bulbul, they have written and sent their concerns in detail to the ICC, and are now waiting for their response.
