Rawalpindi Newly elected Chief Minister of KP Sohail Afridi has said that Pakistan comes first and everything else comes after that.
Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, who arrived in Rawalpindi to meet Imran Khan, spoke to the media near Adiala Jail and said that Quaid-e-Azam is the founder of Pakistan and Pakistan comes first and everything else comes after that.
He said that steps have been taken to release the founder since the day he became the Chief Minister.
Sohail Afridi said that yesterday the KP government had written a letter to the federal and Punjab governments that the Chief Minister of KP wants to meet the founder of PTI, but we did not receive any response.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that Shahbaz Sharif called and congratulated him, for which I thank Mian Shahbaz Sharif, I told the Prime Minister that KP is a province of 45 million people.
Sohail Afridi said that I told the Prime Minister that the public should not come into our political and personal differences. I demanded from the Prime Minister that I be allowed to meet my leader, to which the Prime Minister said that I will find out and tell you.
He said that we will adopt every constitutional and legal path to meet our leader. We have adopted the constitutional and legal path before and will continue to do so. PTI is accused of doing protest politics. When we do not get justice from the courts, peaceful protest is our right.
He said that PTI has always protested peacefully. This option is still open. The Chief Minister said that if an advisory council has to be formed, I will form it myself because I am the Chief Minister.
Sohail Afridi said that since the first day after becoming the Chief Minister, steps have been taken for the release of Bani. I will consult with Bani for the provincial cabinet and will also give my suggestions.
