Lahore: JUI-F Central Secretary General and Member of National Assembly Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri has strongly reacted to the operation carried out in the dark of night on the convoy of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan.

In his statement, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said that the brutal violence on the convoy of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan is unacceptable, every party and every human being has the right to hold a meeting, demonstration or protest in favor of their demands. Direct fire on TLP scholars and workers in the dark of night is in no way sympathetic to Pakistan.

He said that Tehreek-e-Labbaik was repeatedly saying that it wanted to demonstrate to express solidarity with the Muslims of Gaza and Palestine, but the Punjab government was adamant that Israel should not be angered in any way.

Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said that the Punjab government found it easy to torture, injure or kill its own Pakistanis, but it was difficult for them to anger Israel.

The central leader said that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam strongly condemns this kind of brutal violence against Tehreek-e-Labbaik by the Punjab government and federal forces, and expresses solidarity with Tehreek-e-Labbaik.
