ODI series against Australia: Mohammad Rizwan dropped, many senior players return

Pakistan has announced a 16-member squad for the three-match One-Day International series against Australia.

According to the details, Shaheen Shah Afridi will lead the national team in the One-Day International series against Australia.

Senior batsmen Babar Azam, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan and Sufyan Muqeem have returned to the national team, while Mohammad Rizwan has been dropped.

Mohammad Ghazi Ghauri and Rohail Nazir have been included in the squad as wicketkeeper-batsmen in place of Rizwan.

Usman Khan has not been considered due to illness, while Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub will continue their rehab program due to injury.

The three-match One-Day International series between Pakistan and Australia will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from May 30 to June 4.
