News of the second phase of US-Iran talks, crude oil prices drop in the global market

The price of crude oil in the global market has fallen after the news of the second round of US-Iran talks emerged.

According to reports, Brent crude oil has reached $98 per barrel in the global market. WTI is being sold at $97 per barrel.

On the other hand, there was a mixed reaction in the European and Asian stock markets.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange’s Hundred Index closed at 165,635 points after increasing by 5,043 points.

The Korean Kospi gained about 3 percent, Japan’s Nikkei gained 2.4 percent, while the Hong Kong Hang Seng was seen gaining 0.8 percent.

Meanwhile, Indian stock markets fell by one percent, while the German DAX and French CAC saw an increase of up to 1 percent during trading.

It should be noted that news of another round of talks between the US and Iran being held in Islamabad soon is circulating rapidly.

The British news agency Reuters has reported, citing sources, that delegations from the United States and Iran may return to Islamabad this week for peace talks.

On the other hand, an official from the Iranian embassy in Pakistan also told Reuters that the next round of US-Iran talks could take place this week or early next week.
