KARACHI: Naval Chief Admiral Zakaullah on Tuesday said that Pakistan Navy officers had made history in 1965 war with their bravery and sacrifices.
Talking to a ceremony related to flag hoisting in all Navy units on Defence Day, Naval Chief said that if we follow Quaid-e-Azam’s points, we can lead the country towards development.
He said that armed forces are enthusiastic for the protection of naval assets and ports while he also pledged to continue supporting Army over operation Zarb-e-Azb and assured to give every kind of assistance.
He also said that maritime security has gained importance due to China-Pakistan Economic Corridors (CPEC).
On the occasion, the chief also laid floral wreath over the martyrs and offered Fateha.
