NATO’s top military commander, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, has stated that the alliance is prepared to respond to any potential escalation of military tensions by Russia.




This statement was made on September 19 during a meeting of NATO’s 32 senior military officials in Copenhagen.




According to the top commander, NATO’s command structure, military personnel, and weaponry are ready, while the alliance continues to expand its troop numbers and enhance its advanced capabilities.




This statement comes amidst growing concerns in Europe regarding drone incidents, acts of sabotage, and airspace violations attributed to Russia.




Meanwhile, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has also stated that the alliance possesses various options to respond to Russian hybrid attacks, including measures that have not been publicly disclosed.
